I am writing a query letter today. The heat is getting to me, but I can still write. The kitten is almost grown, but his cuteness remains. He thinks I am his litter-mate. I am not a very good cat, and he looks at me sometimes as if to say "Are you sure I'm not adopted?" Normal day 4:15 wake up, make coffee, feed kitten, turn on computer and begin writing 6:00 begin morning run 6:30 let kitten outside, go to second exercise  routine   6:50 shower, dress 7:00 eat breakfast 7:15 kiss my lady good morning and head off to work 6:00-6:30 arrive home spend time with wife and family eat dinner maybe write more 9:00-9:30 crash

    We are taking care of a kitten, A friend's daughter "found" it and she didn't have the common sense to make her take it back to its mother so we have been invaded by its cuteness. I am told that we are just fostering it for someone else. It was hilarious last night, trying to kill me as I sat on the sofa trying to watch a TV. When it was done, it decided that I needed a bath and climbed up my shirt to wash my face. It is treating me like one of its litter mates.    I made a new plaster mold and have it ready to pour metal, but my lady had to go to the store and get more kitten formula so I didn't get to try it. I am not writing for the last week. This is on purpose. The piece that I am working on has been an obsession. It is ready for the final touches and I wanted it out of my head so I could be more objective. I have been amusing myself by attempting a new method of casting metal. It is a combination of the plaster mold used in investment casting and the carved tufa method of the Navajo. It is working very well. When I have time I will write out the instructions. It will be fun to see what the rest of you can do with it. It is simple and requires very few tools. On the other hand, I settled into the editing this morning and it is going well. (4:
